Three outrageously fun inflatable sprinklers!

I have many memories of my Dad cutting the grass and watering with the old-fashioned sprinkler. He would set it out on the grass, and I would put on a bathing suit and jump back and forth, soaking in the water and sunshine. It was the original slip and slide. The grass would be slick with water allowing my body to slide along the slippery surface. It was a blast!

Today we have gone from the simple rotating sprinkler to a world where imagination has no bounds. I have found three super cool sprinklers to share with you. They are simply marvelous!

I have added a cocktail for the adults to enjoy while the kids cool off in the sprinkler.

My first pick is the Joyin Mega Watermelon Ball Jumbo Sprinker. It clocks in at a whopping 35.5 inches. It is an easy peasy setup, just hook it up to the hose, and off you go.

I like to pair this backyard fun with a yummy watermelon martini.

INGREDIENTS:

Simple Syrup

1 cup of sugar

1 cup of water

(heat till dissolved and cool)

2 cups of diced watermelon

(blend till smooth)

1/2 cup of vodka

One lime juiced

DIRECTIONS:

Chill your martini glasses, and then wet the rim and dip in sugar. Add the watermelon juice, vodka, and lime juice along with simple syrup in a shaker. Add ice, shake and pour into chilled glasses. Garnish with a mint leaf or slice of watermelon on the side of the glass.

My second pick is the rainbow inflatable sprinkler. I love this one because the kids can run under it. It is over six feet long. You can also use it as a party prop floating in the pool.

I pair this sprinkler with a Rainbow Sangria. They are easy to make and eye appealing.

Ingredients:

One bottle of white wine

4 Tbsp. of sugar

2 Tbsp. lime juice

8 cups of fruit such as sliced strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, mandarin oranges, blackberries

2 oz of brandy

Directions:

Combine sugar and lime juice with wine. Arrange fruit in a tall glass, I separate it by fruit color, so it is one layer of sliced strawberries, one layer of blueberries, kiwi, mandarin oranges, etc. Add wine to the glass, and If desired, you can top it off with a splash of brandy.

My last pick is the Cactus Inflatable Sprinkler. Since my home state is Arizona, I had to include this one. It is great for a party, especially if you are throwing a western summertime bar-b-que.

I pair this sprinker with the cactus Cocktail. Easy to make, refreshing to drink.

Ingredients:

1 oz tequila

2 oz orange juice

1/2 oz lime juice

2 oz cranberry juice

1/2 oz triple sec

4 oz 7 up

Directions:

Combine ingredients, pour into a tall glass, add ice, garnish with a mint leaf.

I hope you are enjoying your summer!
