Fall Fashion Ideas

Have you ordered your pumpkin latte yet? It is a sign fall is here. The cooling of the temperatures along with the falling of leaves, yes, it is fall. But what do I wear?

Many of us are working from home or not working at all, just staying home. I find myself searching for comfort and style. The following are a few of my favorite fall style options.

THE TURTLE NECK. I love this for several reasons. One, it hides so many flaws that appear as we age. Two, it is a fabulous piece for layering a jacket or sweater over.

CAPES. I say, why not! It is a fun option for warmth and style. Pair it with jeans and boots, and you are looking good.

FANNY PACK. Who knew this would come back to haunt us! But the new styles are irresistible and have been renamed "belt bag." I resisted buying one until I could no longer resist. They are sleek and functional.

TRACKSUIT. Perfect uniform for hanging around the house. Great with athletic shoes, but stay away from the gems and glitter. My personal favorite is the velour; it makes me feel chic.

BLAZER. All I can say is; it's about time. I have hung unto my collection from the 1980s, and I feel vindicated. I knew they would come around to my way of fashion sooner or later. Throw one on with jeans, and off you go.

SWEATER DRESS. Always classy. It screams fall when paired with ankle boots. And hey, you can always toss a cape over it for extra warmth.

Last and not least, the color purple is trendy this fall season. Finally, pink has met it's match for fashion dominion. Add a splash of purple with a scarf, a great way to warm up an outfit.

As always, comfort is the key. Wear clothes that bring out the best in you.

If you feel good in an outfit, it raises your emotional well-being and self-confidence.
